Because of Covid-19 the landlord tenants courts have lost their efficiency in dealing with non-paying tenants.  If you are solely relying on what the sheriff told you or a clerk at the courthouse, realize that they are not experts. If you want an expert, find an attorney who spends 90% of their day in landlord tenant court.  We do not do this.

However for land lord tenant matters we charge a minimum of  $2500 for consultation plus one appearance at court for tenant eviction matters. Additional appearances are $450 each. This is not the cheapest price on the market.  If you want cheaper call around.

If you are a landlord, we charge $2500 for eviction for non-payment of rent. Additional appearances are $450. For eviction for any other reason than non-payment, we require a $4500 retainer.  Minimum costs will be $2056, however if we are required to do extensive legal work we will be required to bill hourly.  We are trying to be upfront with our pricing.
