Landlord Tenant court is Not an Area of Law This Firm Handles on a day to day basis

If you cannot afford an attorney and make less than 150% of the Federal Poverty Level try:

We have in the past worked for both landlords and tenants.  We understand complex issues like how bankruptcy and eviction can work together. Because of Covid-19 the landlord tenants courts have lost their efficiency in dealing with non-paying tenants.  If you are solely relying on what the sheriff told you or a clerk at the courthouse, realize that they are not experts. If you want an expert, find an attorney who spends 90% of their day in landlord tenant court.  We do not do this.

Before we can give you any legal advice we will have to do a conflict check to make sure we would not compromise any one of our previous clients by offering legal advice to you. At this time we have stopped providing free consultations related to landlord tenant issues as we cannot keep up with the demand while making no money and conflicting us out of representing people in the future.   Before we can give any advice, we need to know your name, address along with the name and address of the person that you are having issues with. The two bad reviews we have on line are from non-clients unhappy with our process in saying we are not a one stop shop for everyone available on 30 seconds notice.   We can only represent one side of an issue and that includes providing consultations, and providing them for free is not able to pay for the staff especially when we get bad reviews based on not helping people.

We offer a wide range of Realty services related to the law, and providing free tenant consults can stop us from being able to make money.  If you want free help, contact the volunteer lawyers for justice in NJ.  It was common for us to settle disputes between landlords and tenants prior to court or at the first meeting prior to going to see a judge, but now the courts are not working, we cannot get the results people want, so we have stopped helping both landlords and tenants. .

We comprehend all aspects of property law in New Jersey from security deposits to foreclosure defense and tenant’s rights in foreclosure along with the land lord’s rights. However, we cannot continue to answer 30 calls a week for tenants who want free advice. Or landlords we cannot help.  We used to work with either side of the issue when a landlord wants to evict tenants so they can occupy the property for their personal use. We continue to build a solid standing in the local community by providing professional real estate legal services including foreclosure defense that fulfills our clients’ expectations and commercial and residential closings on properties.

We still provide free consultations for probate issues, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, and real estate purchases. However for land lord tenant matters we charge a minimum of  $2500 for consultation plus one appearance at court for tenant eviction matters. Additional appearances are $450 each. This is not the cheapest price on the market.  If you want cheaper call around.

If you are a landlord, we charge $2500 for eviction for non-payment of rent. Additional appearances are $450. For eviction for any other reason than non-payment, we require a $4500 retainer.  Minimum costs will be $2056, however if we are required to do extensive legal work we will be required to bill hourly.  We are trying to be upfront with our pricing.
