Appellate Work

What is Appellate Practice? In an appeal, a higher court reviews the decision of a lower court.  There are multiple levels of appeal.  The process is very formulaic. If you are unaware of what exactly has to be done and when you may miss your chance to appeal a court decision you are not happy with .  You may also appeal administrative agency decisions and motions in court, not just final court decisions.

Lawyers focusing on appellate practice have to understand more than just basic court procedures.  They need to understand at every different opportunity to win a case.
